Thank you for considering volunteering for the Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program!
When you volunteer your time, skills, empathy and good judgment as a guardian ad litem, you become an invaluable advocate for a child. In addition to making a difference in the lives of children, you can also be proud of your lasting contribution to the greater good.
Applying to volunteer is easy. Download the application and fill out pages one through seven.
To submit the application electronically, digitally sign the form on pages five and six and then use the submit button on page six. To submit the application physically, print and sign the form and send the packet to us by mail or fax.
Three personal reference check forms are included in the application as pages eight, nine and ten. Print and give these pages to your references to complete. Do not wait to send in your application; return the personal reference check forms to us as each of your references complete one.
Volunteer guardians ad litem are also required to complete thirty hours of pre-service training in order to become certified. We will provide you with specific details about all necessary training after we process and approve your application.
