The Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program requires all volunteers to complete a total of twelve (12) hours in-service continuing education each fiscal year to maintain certification.
Fiscal Year 2012–2013
Start your hours on or after July 1, 2011 and complete them by June 30, 2012
Guardian ad litem continuing education may be completed in the following ways.
- READ the continuing education articles available on this page
- ATTEND Lunch & Learn sessions
- TEACH new volunteer guardians ad litem during their pre-service training
- PROMOTE and improve our organization by serving on one of our committees
- PARTICIPATE in other qualifying activities with advanced approval from the circuit director or assistant director
When you have completed a qualifying activity, report your hours for that activity by submitting an electronic Continuing Education Form. It is fast and easy!
To keep track of your hours manually, use the downloadable form. Once complete, sign and return the form to our office by mail or fax, or email a scanned copy to ce

You can also download the Code of Conduct form if you need to read and sign the latest version.
You must report all of your hours by June 30, 2012
