Child Advocates II, Inc.

Child Advocates II, Inc. is the volunteer, not-for-profit organization established in 1988 to support the Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program in Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty and Wakulla counties.

The mission of Child Advocates II, Inc. is to promote the well-being of and raise funds for abused, abandoned and neglected children in the Big Bend area, ensuring they have a court-appointed volunteer guardian ad litem, legal assistance and financial resources available to care for their health, educational and social requirements.

To meet its objective, Child Advocates II, Inc. conducts fundraising activities, volunteer recruitment programs, membership drives, special events and collects donations from people like you.

This support helps see to the needs of every child by securing basic necessities such as medical care and clothing, which would not have been available with state agency support alone. By reaching out to these kids, we all make a big difference in the quality of their lives.

Child Advocates II, Inc. has three categorized funds for specific services provided.

General Needs Fund

The General Needs Fund provides the basic necessities of food, clothing, housing, medical/dental care and holiday gifts.

Legal Services Fund

The Legal Services Fund provides litigation services for children in the Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program.

Summer Camp Fund

The Summer Camp Fund provides school-aged children who might not otherwise have had the opportunity to be a kid, learn to swim, sail, kayak and participate in other fun activities.
